Return & refund policy

1. Overview

At GOA Number Plates, every number plate is manufactured to the registration number and specifications you provide. Because plates are made specifically for each order, returns and cancellations are subject to the conditions below. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

2. Personalised / made-to-order number plates

Number plates manufactured to your chosen registration number, size, style, finish or other specification are personalised and made to order. Once production has started, or the plate has been manufactured, the order cannot be cancelled simply because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your rights where the plate is faulty, damaged, incorrectly manufactured, or not as described.

3. Cancelling an order

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to cancel an order only where production has not started and the order has not yet been committed to manufacture.

Once an order has entered production or has already been manufactured, cancellation is not normally possible because the plate has been produced specifically for that order.

4. Incorrect customer details

You are responsible for checking the registration number, plate size, style, colours, characters and other order details before completing your purchase. If a plate is manufactured exactly according to the details you supplied, we cannot accept a return or refund where you later discover that the information supplied was incorrect.

5. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly manufactured plates

If your plate arrives damaged, is defective, or has been manufactured incorrectly by GOA Number Plates, please contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs showing the issue. We will assess the problem and, where appropriate, provide a replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

Where the problem is our fault, GOA Number Plates will cover the reasonable return cost where a return is required.

6. Change of mind

Because personalised number plates are made to your specifications, the statutory cancellation right for changing your mind does not generally apply to personalised or bespoke plates. However, statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods remain fully protected.

7. Return procedure

Do not send a plate back without contacting us first. We will provide return instructions where a return is required. Returned items should be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

8. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made to the original payment method. Refund timing will comply with applicable UK consumer law. We will not use this policy to exclude or restrict any statutory consumer rights.
